VIVA SAN PABLO!!

The Vigan City Fiesta is held on January 25 every year. It is a celebration held in late January that also includes the Longganisa Festival. The street dancing, carnivals, food festivals, and arts and crafts fairs draw both locals and visitors, adding to the appeal of this UNESCO World Heritage City. The celebration honors St. Paul the Apostle, the town's patron saint, with a procession, musical performances, beauty pageants, and cultural displays. To launch the festival, the city will hold a fitness activity, Zumba Night in Plaza Burgos.
The Longganisa Street dancing and showdown and coolest 2023 were held on January 22nd. This street dancing is a competition of folk dancing in the street with plates in their hands that had longganisa in them and dancing of the patron of Vigan which is the San Pablo every group has to compete has a band or set of drummers to beat the song san pablo as the background sound of the street dancing Every longganisa festival this event is the most awaited one, especially if who or what group will win after the street dancing and showdown. Search for Miss Vigan is also held during the fiesta of Vigan.
This is preparation for the upcoming Kannadawidan miss Ilocos Sur.  Piamonte also emphasized the second year of the LGBTQIA+ day event, a contest of production numbers where two groups from each barangay cluster will showcase their abilities. He quipped, “They will do what they do best, we know that they are not only meant for the parlors, they have the talent and the skills, so it’s one day for them to celebrate.” Vigan's streets become crowded with vibrant displays, gift shops, carnival games, and local performers, especially during this fiesta event.
The majority of Vigan's top tourist attractions are accessible on foot, but you can also take a kalesa to see them. This popular Calle Crisologo area horse-drawn carriages are a fun experience, especially if you want to avoid the stifling tropical heat. Apart from walking, kalesa are the only vehicles that are permitted inside the old town and can be rented by the hour.
